"We enhance the way users navigate through the internet, the computer, and their documents using touchless sensory based technology" - Marc Boillot, CEO

The iPoint technology was inspired by the natural systems that exist around us in nature and biology:
We used the principles of sound localization found in nature (echo location used by bats).
We approached signal processing from a biological perspective (Auditory System).
We developed biologically inspired algorithms from nature (Phase Dispersion).
The iPoint™ is a small motion sensing mouse device which mounts to the keyboard or computer. Alternatively, the device can be integrated within laptops or notebooks. A user typing at the keyboard raises a solitary finger thereby gaining control of the cursor on the display. The cursor moves in accordance with the movement of the user's finger. A first finger movement acquires navigation control of the cursor, and a second finger movement activates single and double click behavior.

Target Customer - Text entry professionals, Secretaries, Attorneys, Programmers, Laptop Users, Data Entry Professionals, and Internet Hobbyists who frequently navigate between documents, applications, email, and the internet. The iPoint™ increases the efficiency and easiness by which users can interact with email, computer applications, computer games, search engines, and data entry systems.

Why is the product needed? - A computer user generally moves their hands away from the normal typing position to handle the mouse, the touchpad, or the stick. The iPoint™ allows a user to acquire control of the cursor without any physical arm or hand movement and without taking their eyes off the screen.

Main Product Benefits - The iPoint™ gives users the freedom to navigate across applications using hands-free control of the cursor. This flexibility results in a more casual and enjoyable experience for interfacing with computer processing systems. The device can be used out of the box and attached to the keyboard or display.

Product Features - The iPoint™ is a small multiple-sensor element resting near the top of the keyboard. The iPoint™ is positioned out of the way of typing but close enough to sense finger movement.

Product Components - The iPoint™ includes a multiple-sensor element and sophisticated processor to sense finger movement. The iPoint™ provides an interface cable with standard USB and PS/2 computer port connections.

How the Product Works - The iPoint™ tracks finger movement and finger motion behavior to navigate and control a cursor on the computer display. A user simply raises a finger above the keyboard moves the finger to navigate the cursor on the display. A second finger motion activates mouse behavior controls such as single and double clicking.

Utility - The iPoint™ provides a "quick and easy" way to navigate between windows and across applications. For example, quick cut and paste operations during text editing, or checking email, or browsing the internet are performed efficiently with the iPoint™.
